Most people think of the Caribbean as being a "Vacation Paradise". This may be true in one sense, but this is only in certain areas. There are literally "Thousands of Islands" in the Caribbean Sea with some of the "poorest living conditions" in the world. Take the Bahamas, for instance, a great Vacation Place... but the Islands have an advertised unemployment rate of 15-16%. The "Missionaries" that work in the Bahamas believe that the umployment rate is really closer to 30%! Even as high as 60% on some Islands.

I was recently told of a "Native Pastor" who had been offered a "job" at a "New Resort" in the Bahamas. If he accepted this job, it would have meant that he would have to live most of the time 90 miles away. This is two days travel time, in the Bahamas, from the Church he pastored. He refused the job because had made a commitment to God to be a "Pastor" to the people. Just a few days after he had refused the job, his family was found without food in their home and the pastor himself had not eaten in four days. Oh, that we in America would be so committed to God! God can supply all our needs and He did for this brother by way of a Missionary friend.

The people have many physical needs, as well as spiritual needs. They have need of the "bare basics". There are churches that do not have pastors, as well as churches that are in need of repair.

In order to fulfill the "Call of God", I need your help in the following ways. First and foremost, I need to be placed on your church's and your personal "Prayer List". Secondly, I need your financial support. It would be a privilege for me to come and share my "Burden" with you. I am also available on a limited "Revival or Campmeeting" schedule.
